Italian Aurora Narcisi was the woman, who broke the Finnish front in World Championships 2011 in Estonia. Aurora, the World champion of 2010, took the bronze.
In women’'s serie Finn Eeva Isokorpi was winner by 41,75 meters throw, Finn Tiia Koskelo took silver by 40,91 meters and bronze medalist Narcisi’s throw was 40,43 meters. Best Estonian, Jana Kohv took the ninth place by 35.39 meters throw.
Men’'s winner was Finn Ville Huuskonen by 61,58 meters, Saku Paavola was silver medalist by by 56,60 meters and the third Finn Tapani Kananen took the bronze by 52,21 meters. Best Estonian Janek Väli took seventh position by 50.35 meters and Marek Gordejev was eight by 49,10 meters throw.
In competition between national teams winner was Finland, second was Estonia and Italia took the bronze. |
